U.S. Army 47th Support Battalion Unit Crest (Each)

The 47th Support Battalion has been around since WWII. The crest's motto is "Modern Pioneers". The Battalion was originally designated as the 4th Medical Squadron which is symbolized by the colors maroon and white. The staff of Aesculapius is a symbol of the Army medical corps.
